Glengoyne 28 Year Old Oloroso Casks

Glengoyne is a Highland distillery by the very smallest of margins – the road that separates the distillery from its warehouses is the dividing line between the Highlands and the Lowlands.

The distillery has the slowest distillation rate of any Scottish distillery and combined with the complete lack of peat in the production process, highlights the contribution of the barley to the flavour of the whisky.

Glengoyne 28 Year Old has a more rich and deep fruity flavour than the younger bottles which s due to the length of time t has had to mature in Oloroso sherry casks.
