Glenlivet 1940 Artistry in Oak 85 Year Old

Crowned the oldest ever single malt upon its release, Artistry in Oak was drawn from a single former transport sherry butt after an astonishing 85 years of maturation. The spirit is presented in an ornate decanter housed in a solid bronze frame, designed by American architect Jeanne Gang. Each bottle was originally accompanied by a small wooden acorn.

Perhaps one of Scotland’s most important whisky companies, Gordon & MacPhail is a historic blender, independent bottler and distiller. It was founded in Elgin in 1895 and among its brands include Benromach single malt, and independent labels such as Connoisseurs Choice and its Distillery Labels.
