Karuizawa 1995 Noh Kamiasobi 12 Year Old #5004

Karuizawa bottle, bottled at cask strength exclusively for Kamiasobi, a Japanese theater group set up to make traditional Noh performances more accessible to a greater audience. This label features the mask of the Noh character, Akujo-Beshimi, who is understood to be a fearful old God.

This limited bottling was distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2008 after 12 years of maturation.

Produced from a single Japanese wine cask #5004, which yielded only 186 bottles.
